GSBC Hosted Trip to Israel

Visit the Holy Land with Golden State Baptist College!

Golden State will be hosting a trip to the land of Israel on January 8th – January 17th. If you would be interested in taking part in this trip, please use the form below and we will contact you and provide you with the payment information and other trip details.


  • Day 1—Travel Day

    • Depart for overnight trip to Tel Aviv, Israel. Dinner and breakfast provided en route.
  • Day 2—Arrival in Israel

    • 10-hour time difference (Israel is 10 hours ahead of Pacific Time Zone)
    • Visit Joppa (Jaffa) on the beautiful Mediterranean coast, the setting for the story of Jonah and where Peter had his vision in Acts 10. We travel north to Caesarea, following the same route Peter walked to witness to Cornelius. We continue via Mount Carmel, where Elijah had his contest with the prophets of Baal, then on to Tiberias through the Valley of Armageddon and by Cana of Galilee.
    • We arrive for dinner at our hotel overlooking the Sea of Galilee, where we will stay for three nights.
  • Days 3-5—Tiberias/Sea of Galilee/Capernaum/Caesarea Philippi/Jordan River/Nazareth

    • Cross the Sea of Galilee by boat, landing at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar, where we view the ancient fisherman’s boat from the First Century. We continue to Mount of Beatitudes, the setting for the Sermon on the Mount and the feeding of the 5,000. We will visit the town of Capernaum, the base for Christ’s Galilean ministry and the home of Peter, with its ancient synagogue. We travel north to Caesarea Philippi and the Northern Galilee Region, ending with a visit to the Jordan River. We will also visit Nazareth, where Mary and Joseph were visited by an angel announcing Christ’s birth. Nazareth is also the childhood town of Jesus.
  • Days 6-9—Jerusalem

    • We travel south through the Jordan Valley through Bet Shean, along the Jordan River, the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. In Jerusalem, we visit the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Temple Mount, the Western Wall and Old City Jerusalem. We end our week in Israel by visiting the Garden Tomb, where we will view Golgotha and tour the garden believed to be owned by Joseph of Arimathea, and view the First-Century tomb in the garden. We will have a half-day to rest and shop at our own leisure on Ben Yehuda Street, a nice pedestrian street with many souvenir shops in Jerusalem.
  • Day 10—Travel Home

    • We will have a special farewell meal before leaving for the airport to travel home.


  • Total Cost: $3,495
  • $350 deposit per person, due by August 1
  • Cost includes round-trip flight from point of departure, accommodations in four-star hotels, daily full buffet breakfasts and dinners, all taxes and tips, entrance to museums and tourist sites, private tour guide and air-conditioned motor coach.
  • Cost is for double-occupancy room. If single-occupancy room is desired, there will be an additional cost of $500.

      Each passenger is responsible for their own passage to the point of departure.
