This was a fun-filled day as the college family enjoyed our annual Labor Day Picnic. This yearly event is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the many new students who come our way. The students were playing volleyball, softball, football and many other games. (I even saw a chess board on one of the picnic tables!) And, of course, some participated in the annual Reed Jumping Contest. (I am not sure exactly how to describe this time-honored, student-led tradition other than to say that it is something you must see to believe!)
